Penn State Altoona's fall theatre performance, "Love and Whiskey," will take place Oct. 27-29 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The play is set in North Carolina during the Great Depression and revolves around Lucy Mae, a woman in her 30s striving to become the woman she wants to be. Tickets are $5 for Penn State Altoona students and $7 for general admission.
Penn State Altoona will present "Scapin" as its spring theatre performance April 7 to 9, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
“The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again]” is a 2023 version of the original “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged),” first performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1987. It has since been performed around the world and is London’s longest-running comedy, playing for nine years at the Criterion Theatre and will be featured at Penn State Altoona on March 21.
